Pollinate the Universe

In this series of drawings I explore the world of plants from the insect perspective. Those tiny creatures move with incredible speed between different ecosystems to harvest fuel for their lifes, travels and reproduction. I draw parallels with a fictional world which is mostly located outside our atmosphere. Space traveling ships are exploring a world where giant mechanical constructions a kind like function seem to have as the plants on earth.

A lot of elements used in these drawings are based on existing plants and/or creatures.
